As a small business partner with Carbonfund.org, we contribute to offsetting our carbon footprint every year. This year, we have offset 36 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to our current level of operations. As our business expands, we will contribute more as needed ensuring we have offset our CO2 emissions.
On top of offsetting our carbon footprint, we are also planting trees! So far, in 2020, we have planted more than 500 trees to offset our use of paper products used in moving boxes and various packing materials.

We plant trees in the USA
The Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley Reforestation Initiative aims to reforest at least one million acres throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois. Considered North America’s rainforest, this region is a vital habitat for migratory birds and numerous plant and animal species. The project will also sequester CO2 emissions. Previously encompassing 22 million acres of temperate forest, the region now holds only four million acres of unfarmed forestland.
While 1 million acres of land being reforested is excellent, It simply isn’t enough. We can blow past our goal with your help and help give wildlife their natural habitats back while sequestering our co2 emissions.
Deforestation is responsible for about 11% of climate change. Protecting forests is a critical solution. Planting trees absorbs carbon dioxide, improves air and soil quality, preserves biodiversity, improves habitats and creates jobs.
